We’d better start speculating before this story breaks loose. I bet they don’t kick him off the team. They’ll try to cover it up. I like where the Ames police officers’ heads are at though… real Cyclone fans would have let him walk.
You guys are totally obsessed with ISU…..with all the good things happening in I.C. these days why would you spend your time hating on “losers”. I speculate the reason why all you are hating is because running someone down makes you feel like a big man. Yeah ,it’s working….whatever makes you feel better. The whole world knows the real story behind your lame game.
It’s true. The site was originally going to be called “isusucks.com” but Hawkize was too good to pass up. In case you haven’t noticed though, about half of the articles have nothing to do with ISU. Also, you speculated incorrectly. We rip on the Cyclones because we don’t like them. It doesn’t make me feel any better. I wish we didn’t have to write about ISU’s failures, but they keep embarassing the state. We’ll quit when they drop the word “Iowa” from their name.
I really hope he plays next year though, so ISU fans don’t have any excuse when Albert Young rushed for 400 yards.
ISU clinches Cy-Squawk series. Leading 11-4 with only 4 points possible left. Squawks could only muster wins in wrestling and women’s swimming.
And ISU is hanging its hat on the fact that two of the sports Iowa would have won have been dropped from ISU’s program.
coulda shoulda woulda…yadda…yadda…yadda. We would win IF this and If that. Whatever. You guys love ripping ISU because it makes you feel like a big fish. And the reason you need to feel like a big fish is because no one outside of Iowa really respects Iowa that much (deservedly or not). Sure, now and then Iowa gets some spoony love from the media but overall they are disrespected. I think that’s what drives hawk fans to kick sand in the face of ISU fans. No one denies that Iowa is the most popular and athletically sucessful program in the state. The authors claim that ISU is embarassing to them. The truth is, the only thing embarassing is this websites’ half wit analysis of everything that ISU does.

Respect isn’t a big deal. If the media doesn’t want to acknowledge Iowa’s success, that’s fine. Iowa isn’t ever going to get the publicity that a USC or a Notre Dame is going to get–Hawk fans accepted that long ago. We’ll just keep going to New Year’s bowl games, and we’ll keep rolling every ranked team that we play at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. If the media wants to jump on the bandwagon for a while, they’re more than welcome to. We’re still Hawk fans with or without them. As it pertains to that statement, we are going to “kick sand in the face of ISU fans” regardless of media attention. Andyram says it best: “Part of being a Hawkeye fan is hating Iowa State.” There’s really not much more to it than that.
I’d be “Anonymous” too if I were a Clown fan. Keep on chewing on your straw, throwing your cow pies, and reading this site “Till the cows come home”. (You can surely relate to that line if your a Clown fan) Even “Hayseed farmers” should know what “zero tolerance” means.For God’s sake McCarney should kick his ass off the team for good. But…good luck with that.

According to the Des Moines Register, they didn’t cite him for possession of alcohol, just being in the bar. I really doubt they would kick him off the team for that.
Wow, it took you guys this long to actually READ the charges against Berryman? Possession is long shot from on premises underage. It’s not even a story or an issue…good try though.

I dont know what derivative of hayseed farmer implies homosexuality or beastiality, but in only exists in your world. Hayseed farmers are generally depicted as dimwitted simpletons which is much better than your title: a half wit horse felator. It won’t be an issue because like it or not, the issue is dead in the water and the charges are not worth what they’re printed on. It just chaps your ass to know that Berryman will probably be playing in the fall and singlehandedly destroy the Hawks.

Anyway’s my room-mate down here at the wonderful Des Moines Are Community College(Ankeny). He is the biggest ISU. Last saturday as I was waking up from my hangover. I happend to turn on the TV and see ISU was gettin spanked by Kansas…I then proceed out to the living room and I see him..face in his arms..almost crying..it was so pathetic….anywas..he turns to me and says “how do you guys keep winning…and we keep losing”…I swear….God touched me that day.

Give him credit for upholding his morals, but they’re still going to be mediocre with or without Berryman on the field. Criminal record aside, Berryman is not good enough to play for us. He’s got to be looking at 1-AA or D-II right now… or falling off the face of the earth.
He should look into killing himself.
I figured DannyMac would make this a non-issue and sweep it under the rug. He proved me wrong. He actually has a pair. As for JB, he’ll end up at a I-AA or Div-II no doubt. He’s talented but not that great. The state of Iowa will be better off w/o this d-bag. well it was my birthday on feb 1 and still believing stongly in my hawks and fellow hawk fans isu blows and thats all their is to it! a typical isu fan can only be described as clay akain what a queer in some way shape or form you can see these looser qualities in evey isu fan you meet so stand pround hawk fans and keep pounding down isu cuz iowa is better and isu will always suck that is just that!
oh yes i almost forgot “hilton magic” that is quite possilbly the gayist line or thing i have ever herd what the hell isu a bunch of fairies now creating magic so their team does good well let me tell you somthing IT DOES NOT WORK isu blows at home this year and when isu fans came up with hilton magic on the road what the hell is that all about oh were winning on the road so we must have takin our magic with us what a bunch of tools!
