YouTube Football Top 10
If you have been keeping up with the world outside of sports (yes, I know it’s hard) you know that YouTube has been in the news. Just this week they were bought by Google. As YouTube gets more and more mainstream, questions about whether it can last as it is have become more prevalent. The problems coming mostly from the fact that a lot of what you can view on YouTube is copyrighted material.
In honor of YouTube, and the copyrighted sports material it puts at our fingertips, we at Hawkize have assembled our YouTube Football Top 10
Number 10: Miami Hurricanes. Before they were a bunch of thug brawlers, they were a bunch of thug brawlers that could back it up on the field. 2 stars for the clips, 2 stars for the song. What you kno bout them Miami boys!?
Number 9: Willis McGahee, meet Will Allen. In retrospect, its been all downhill for Miami ever since this hit. WARNING! Hawkize.com is not liable if this video causes you to wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night.
Number 8: TRIPLE Ts UP IN THIS BITCH! While not technically a football vid, the man did once play football. And its just to damn funny to not post.
Number 7: The most electrifying man in sports entertainment. A little Big 10 pride here. The man is just so…damn…fast!
Number 6: “Superman wears #6, and he plays for the Iowa Hawkeyes”. An excellent Tim Dwight assortment. Eat your heart out Ginn!
Number 5: Pulla Randy Moss. A great compilation of Moss highlights. Half the credit goes to the song and the soundbytes (the priceless “a disgusting act” by Joe Buck) and then the fro interview at the end and then the “next time I might shake my *explitive*” clip. For ya’ll that dont like this clip, its just cause the truth hurts. The realness hurts.
Number 4: Darkness There. A clip featuring two men I hope I never get on the bad side of: Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. Video done very well to the music. An all around sweet vid, even if your not a Ravens fan.
Number 3: The Squirrel Owns: Whenever I’m having a bad day, I watch this clip, and it makes everything all better. Thats Kelly Washington with the score and Chad Johnson with the chuckle.
Number 2: The Catch: Need I say more?
Number 1: The Hitman. C’mon, seriously. Who did you think we were going to put at #1?
There you have it folks. It was hard to do just 10, but I have SportsCenter to watch beer to drink video games to play porn to look at homework to do. Enjoy.
On Iowa, Go Hawks
