Colts’ Sanders Sought in Homicide
INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Colts’ free safety Bob Sanders is being asked to come in for questioning in a recent homicide at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
Authorities say Sanders was the last human to see the entire offensive unit from the Baltimore Ravens alive. If convicted, Sanders would face 11 counts of capital murder with deadly weapons.
“This is a serious case,” Baltimore District Attorney Jon Jakupzvic said. “The suspect in question was seen hitting these men with the force of a seven-ton freight train. It was reckless to let someone of that caliber play on the same field with such physically inferior people- and now we’re missing eleven purple-clad men because of it.”
Sanders could not be immediately reached for comment, but was later found at Car-X in downtown Indianapolis, eating his lunch of nails and motor oil.
Authorities say that Sanders is to be considered armed and dangerous, and advise Patriots wide receivers to “avoid the middle” if they “love their children.”
