Typically the NFL is anything but lax when it comes to what its players wear when they suit up.  Whether it is not wearing regulation length socks, wearing unlicensed NFL apparel, or wearing tiger-striped shoes bearing holographic pictures of your most famous touchdown celebrations (God bless Chad Johnson), the NFL will show no mercy and no sense of humor.  Players can expect anywhere from a $5,000 to $100,000 fine for a uniform violation.

But the usually stringent NFL is letting one such violation pass.  After numerous fatalities and hospitalizations, the league is requiring Bob Sanders to wear a “warning label”.

“I don’t care if he is violating league rules or not,” said NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.  “I just can bear to watch another running-back get his knees shattered, or anther wide receiver getting his skull cracked.”

“I’m glad the league finally showed some common sense” coach Bill Belichick said this week to the media.  “I’m just glad that dumb shit Ellis Hobbs plays defense.  That mother fucker can’t even read!”

Sources close to the Colts safety say that Bob is quote, “ready to unleash hell upon Tom Brady and his heathen teammates.”

In a related story, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has not spoken to the media all week.  Although Brady says he is simply trying to mentally focus on Sunday’s game as much as possible and not get distracted by the media hoopla, the Hawkize crew has learned that Brady is having women problems yet again.  Turns out that Toms new supermodel girlfriend, Gisele Bundchen, has been moaning “Bob Sanders” during sex.  Stay tuned…
