…To win a Super Bowl MVP? One interception, one forced fumble, three tackles, and a Super Bowl title despite Peyton Manning’s best efforts to continue his string of being a perpetual loser. Why can not Bob Sanders be named the Super Bowl MVP?
So Peyton does the MasterCard commercials. And the Nextel commercials. And every goddamn commercial there is on an NFL Sunday. That doesn’t automatically make him a Super Bowl MVP.
We here at Hawkize disagree with the decision and stand behind Bob Sanders as our NFL MVP.

If not Sanders, and that is a BIG if, give a co-MVP to Rhodes and Addai. 25/38 for 247 is OK, but Manning had two turnovers and only one touchdown. Hardly MVP numbers. The league just wanted to complete the Peyton Manning story with a happy ending.
Haver, Cedric Benson can tell you who Bob Sanders is. Then again, he might of lost a few brain cells along with the ball.
They wouldn’t have been there without Peyton.
Bob sanders must not have known who bernard berrian is until he saw the back of his jersey. its a good thing grossman was doing shitty so he could catch an underthrown ball. very skilled man he is.. deserves mvp for that one.
I put $5 on Bob as MVP, and $5 on Dallas: 30:1, 25:1 respectively. Bob was worthy of a nomination… Dallas didn’t have a chance.
I was disappointed with the amount of ball time Dallas had. He’s a better receiver than he was treated, but I guess he did his part in keeping Peyton’s ass off the ground. He did have several great plays, but there just weren’t enough. Addai steped it up too. I don’t like him, but the fucker played on Sunday… I would have rather seen him with MVP than Manning.

Bob certainly did deserve the ring. I agree with the statement that the NFL did want somewhat to complete the Peyton legacy He didnt have a subpar game on sunday, but by the time hes done, he will be far and out the single best quarter back in the history of the game.

The company I work for isn’t small… we have approximately 400,000 full time employees with about 150,000 contractors. Someone from Best Buy sent an email to one of my company’s employees in AMES… AMES, IOWA… that was basically saying that Microsoft wants you to forward this email to as many people as you can, and that you would be paid for each person it went to, as well as each person the sent it to, and each person they sent it to. This stupid fucker sent it to the entire company… not a big deal right? WRONG! A lot of other stupid people thought it was real and did the same thing… within 10 minutes of this email being read for the first time, it brought down 180 of our 340 exchange servers….

lets looks at the macro and not the micro. Look at his whole career at iowa. and why are you using this season as an example? It will be a miracle if we win big 10s, bigger miracle to make it to the tournament and the biggest miracle yet would be to make it past the first round. But like you said a group of fucking misfits. Thats the problem, its the same story every year. Alford never has the players to work with. That seems to be a reoccurring theme. I think once he is gone, attendance will once again rise at carver. Until that day though, I would rather watch Drake play.

Boilerhawks - Iowa definately didn’t get screwed out of the tournament, we definately deserved it. Also, no NIT bid. I think its definately time for Alford to go. I think we instead need to focus our attention on the 8 wrestlers going to nationals. Lets start focusing our attention to the 2 winning pograms at Iowa: Wrestling and Football
the wrestlers didnt end up doing too great. but alford is the reason this season blew. no one elses fault. and the reason we have choked and blown it alot in past seasons. he needs to be gone.
