In case you didn’t know, VEISHEA is going on at Iowa State next weekend. According to Wikipedia, it’s the largest student-run festival in the nation. When you think about it, it’s not surprising that an event run by a bunch of morons ended up in a riot back in 2004. It’s a forgettable time in Iowa State’s history, to say the least.

We’re not about to let people forget the mayhem, destruction, and downright stupidity that happened just three short years ago. Here’s an assortment of videos and pictures to help refresh your memory:

A wall of police trying to stop the riots. Honestly, it wasn’t the students’ fault for rioting. This whole thing was because of the Ames police, not because of a bunch of drunken hooligans running around town breaking everything in sight.

I’ve been to a lot of parties in my day, and I’ve never seen anything like this. I’m speechless.

Now that you’re all psyched up for VEISHEA ‘07, let’s go drink some beers and start a riot.
