Iowa-ISU “rivalry” in question

Fuck you, Jamie Pollard. Here’s to hoping that Gary Barta will tell that low balling fuck face the same thing. I don’t think I would mind wiping them off our schedule so we could play a better team. Like UW-Green Bay.
Although, it is fun to spank them from time to time.

As far as I’m concerned we are doing them a favor by playing them. You think they would be begging to renegotiate. Its hard to recruit anyone out of the state when you can only watch the rest of their season on Mediacomm Connections…if even that.
We have had nothing to gain by playing ISU lately. I don’t have a problem with us dropping them. Not at all.
no fuckin shit, besides maybe nebraska what other games does ISU sell out besides Iowa? none, we could replace them with Minnesota State for the blind and still sell out those home games. Iowa state needs this game much more then Iowa, especially when winning it can make your season….clowns
If there is nothing to show a contract extension, I would say there needs to be some better ticket agreements and price controls in the next contract. It does no good to play them, but it is a benefit to the state to keep the game. It just needs to be reachable by everyone (read: no undue price increases)
