Hawkize.com is an entertainment site for die hard Iowa Hawkeye maniacs to preach and discuss anything related to our beloved Hawks. This is not your typical media site or coverage. At Hawkize.com, we support the Hawks to the very end.

What you will find here is news and discussions about the Hawks that isn’t in the typical “here’s the news…” format. We are going to publish our thoughts on any Hawk related issue we can think of. If it comes to profanity and violence, so be it. We’re going to hawkize anyone who dares to question the greatness of our team.

What you will not see here is unbiased content. Typical media outlets like the Des Moines Register, Cedar Rapids Gazette, Iowa City Press Citizen, ESPN, etc. have to maintain at least some notion of unbiased reporting. Not us. We don’t have to say that Iowa State has a chance of winning the football game (they don’t), or that Kirk Ferentz isn’t the best damn coach in the nation (Pete Carroll sucks). We know that the Hawks kick ass, and we don’t have to hide it.

All of the die hard fans know that most people just don’t get it. Mainly Iowa State fans. There are even some pseudo Hawkeye fans that don’t support the Hawks as much as they should (see: split families). This site is not for those people. If you irrationally and maniacally support the Hawkeyes, this site is for you.
